We were kinda lost trying to get to Geylang Serai. Private tried his best to provide directions, but only to bring us around the desinated area. We have no idea why Private was so estatic for this expedition..maybe it was to GEYLANG, or the fireworks that we saw, or the idea of him giving treat? We never knew...

Before long, Skipper blew her top and demanded the noisy Private to shut his trap or be ejected from the transport 146B. It was after ah mah provided ACCURATE directions that we managed to park opposite the foodmarket. (ps, luckily we did put parking coupons cuz there was traffic police on the roll!)

On the whole, the food was good for HUNGRY crowd. Ah mah & Kalowski couldn't stop to poise for the camera & private had his face full of food along with mee goreng sauce!

His quote of the day "I don't really like the sauce for the mee goreng."

The satay was rather QQ - minced meat thus there was almost no fats on the meat. The satay sauce was not exactly tasty as this is more of Malay style of preparing. However, It must have been the wonderful ingredients that Ah Mah's mother put into the satay sauce, I still find Ah Mah's mother's sauce the BEST! The taste lingers even after 6years..

Quite worth the deal, as compared to the food centre opposite harbour front.

Mee Rubus and Mee Goreng was average, they seemed like being prepared in a rush. kalowski found the mee Rubus to be tasty while skipper thought the mee goreng was too spicy! Despite all that, we finished till the last bit, leaving only onions and cucumber.
